The following terms and conditions govern the interpretation and application of CompletionsDB’s project management consulting, database solutions, and operational efficiency services. These provisions are intended to prevent ambiguity and establish a common understanding between CompletionsDB and its clients.
“Project management consulting” refers to advisory, planning, and oversight activities delivered by CompletionsDB personnel or subcontractors. “Database solutions” means the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of structured data systems for infrastructure asset management, project controls, or operational reporting. “Operational efficiency services” includes process analysis, workflow redesign, and performance benchmarking. Any deliverable not explicitly listed in a signed statement of work is excluded.
The client must provide timely access to relevant data, personnel, and site locations. CompletionsDB is not liable for delays or inaccuracies caused by incomplete, outdated, or incorrect information supplied by the client. The client retains ownership of all pre-existing data and intellectual property; CompletionsDB retains ownership of its methodologies, tools, and proprietary software frameworks.
“Confidential information” includes all project data, financial figures, operational metrics, and strategic plans shared during the engagement. CompletionsDB will implement industry-standard access controls and encryption for database solutions. However, no system is infallible; the client acknowledges that absolute data security cannot be guaranteed. Any data breach must be reported within 48 hours of discovery.
References to “improvement,” “reduction,” or “optimisation” in proposals or case studies represent historical results or projected estimates based on agreed baselines. Actual outcomes depend on client execution, external factors, and market conditions. CompletionsDB does not guarantee specific percentage improvements unless explicitly stated in a signed contract with defined measurement criteria.
To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, CompletionsDB’s aggregate liability for any claim arising from a service engagement shall not exceed the total fees paid by the client for that specific project. CompletionsDB is not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business interruption, even if advised of the possibility.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute arising from the interpretation or performance of these provisions shall first be submitted to mediation in accordance with the rules of the Arbitration Foundation of Southern Africa. If mediation fails, the dispute shall be resolved by binding arbitration in Johannesburg.
These clarifications form an integral part of any agreement between CompletionsDB and its clients. No amendment or waiver is effective unless made in writing and signed by both parties.
Practical tools and consulting for energy infrastructure projects that run on data, not guesswork.
Custom-built project databases that consolidate schedule, cost, and quality data from multiple contractors into a single source of truth. Real-time dashboards give your control team 24-hour visibility into delays and budget variances.
Lean project controls for transmission upgrades, maintenance turnarounds, and municipal infrastructure. We map critical path activities, optimise resource allocation, and introduce data-driven stand-up coordination that cuts schedule slippage by 15–20%.
Process audits and workflow redesign for energy sector operations. We identify bottlenecks in contractor coordination, reporting cycles, and asset management — then implement practical changes that reduce emergency repairs and extend asset life expectancy.
